About This Experience

A 3-day, 2-night shared-cabin liveaboard built for solo travellers and couples who want the full Komodo route without chartering a boat. Cabins are mixed-gender and shared, bathrooms are shared, and the price is roughly a third of what the same three days cost on a private charter.

The schedule runs eight to nine stops. Day one boards at 10:00 and sails to Kelor and Manjarite before the Kalong Island sunset. Day two starts in the dark for the Padar climb, then Pink Beach, the Komodo Island ranger walk, Manta Point and Taka Makassar. Day three picks up the remaining snorkel stops before returning to Labuan Bajo.

Round-trip hotel or airport transfers are included, along with all meals on board, snorkel equipment, a local guide and crew, and drone, GoPro and mirrorless documentation of the trip. The park fee is paid separately and this operator asks for it in advance.

Itineraries are weather-dependent. Skippers reorder or drop stops when the swell between Padar and Komodo builds, and Manta Point in particular is skipped whenever the current runs too hard to snorkel safely.
Komodo dragons and manta rays are wild animals in a national park. Rangers know where the dragons usually rest and manta season peaks December to February, but no operator can guarantee a sighting.
Cabins are mixed-gender by default. Bed configuration varies by boat and may be a single or a queen-size double; a private cabin is bookable as a supplement.
